Terms of Service
Last updated: March 9, 2026
1. What We Do
Woodshedding is a practice tool that lets you upload songs, split them into individual instrument tracks, and practice at your own pace with speed and pitch controls.
2. Your Account & Content
Sign in with Google to get started. You keep full copyright and ownership of everything you upload — we store files only for processing and playback, and never claim any rights to your content. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and how you use any files produced by the service.
3. Stem Export & Downloads
You can download separated stems from your processed songs. What you do with exported files is up to you — but you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable copyright laws.
4. Usage Guidelines
Please don't abuse the service with automated tools or use it in ways that could harm other users. Audio separation, BPM detection, and key analysis are designed to help your practice but may not be 100% accurate — use them as helpful guides. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.
5. Copyright Claims
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our service infringes your copyright, contact us at hey@woodshedd.ing with a description of the copyrighted work and the infringing material. We will review and respond to valid claims promptly.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions.
7. Updates
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page — please check back periodically to stay informed.

1. What We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture. We also store the audio files you upload, your usage preferences (language, theme, notification settings), and basic usage data — all used solely to provide and improve the service.
2. How We Use It
Your data is used only to run and improve the service — signing you in, processing your audio, saving your practice library, understanding how features are used, diagnosing errors, and sending service-related email notifications.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and analytics cookies for usage statistics. We also use browser local storage to remember your interface preferences (such as language, theme, and display size).
4. Your Rights
You can access or delete your data at any time. Delete your account from Account Settings to remove all songs, settings, and history. You can also opt out of email notifications in your settings. If you have any questions, contact us at hey@woodshedd.ing.
